Organic monastic heather honey Mount Athos 400g

22,00

Honey heather has a high biological and nutritional value, mainly due to the metals, proteins, amino acids, enzymes and B complex vitamins it contains. It has a particularly high protein content (2%) compared to other honey varieties.

It also has antiseptic and diuretic properties. Greek heather honey has won international quality awards in contests.
In fact, in a study conducted in 2012 it was found that heather honey has the highest phenol content. Additionally, its high antioxidant content contributes to the neutralization of free radicals, which are produced as a result from metabolic reactions and exposure to external environmental pollutants. The neutralization of free radicals prevents aging and improves overall health.

Store at room temperature, keep out of the sun.

Children below the age of one years old should not be fed with honey.

Crystallization is a natural process and does not affect product quality.
